DiscoverOrg is looking for a talented and motivated Director of Accounting who desires an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company!


As Director of Accounting, your typical day will look a lot like this:

  • Hire, train, and develop accounting professionals in a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to, team building, interpersonal skills, relationship building, and business knowledge.
  • Monitor Accounting Team performance metrics closely and provide ongoing feedback to Managers and staff to ensure that they remain aligned with company goals.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close and related reporting including: account reconciliations, credit card processing, fixed assets, accounts payable and payroll activities
  • Work closely with financial systems team to constantly drive improvements through automation
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Manage annual audit processes and coordinate with auditors on entity level audit
  • Manage and participate in ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary


You are probably a great fit for this role if this sounds like you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing multiple accounting projects and staff simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience with NetSuite.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with leadership and staff in a multicultural environment.

Bonus Points: 

  • Advanced finance or accounting degree.
  • Experience in public accounting or public company with responsibilities in managing GL team.
  • SaaS experience 
  • Experience leading a team of 5+ people.
