Six years ago DiscoverOrg was a 35 person company doing around $5M in revenue. Fast forward and we’re 500 employees, a 7-time Inc. 5000 winner, recently acquired our largest competitor to position us as the clear leader in our space, and doing around $125M in revenue. One of the last pieces we need is to move upmarket and crush Enterprise sales. Help us pioneer that function at one of the country’s fastest growing technology companies.

The Vice President of Enterprise Sales will build an Enterprise Sales function at DiscoverOrg; focusing on the expansion of existing business and net new business at DiscoverOrg’s enterprise sized target accounts and customers.

This person will meet sales targets by having the ability to identify opportunity within a book of existing enterpise accounts, drive revenue through effective leadership, and maintain a strong sales pipeline of net new business.

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer


Here’s what a typical day will look like as the Vice President, Enterprise Sales:

  • Develop and execute on sales strategies within DiscoverOrg’s existing enterprise level customer base
  • Meet and exceed annual revenue targets through effective leadership of Account Executive team
  • Collaborate with DiscoverOrg Customer Success Managers who own relationships with large accounts
  • Strategize land and expand opportunities within DiscoverOrg’s existing customer base
  • Build and maintain strong sales pipeline
  • Provide weekly updates to executive leadership
  • Build, scale, and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives
  • Perform other duties as a member of DiscoverOrg’s Executive Team
  • Up to 30% travel


You’re likely a great fit for this opportunity if you have the following:

  • 3+ years of successful enterprise sales experience, preferrably in the SaaS or technology industries selling multi 6-7 figure deals  
  • Be data driven in all that you do, while being supported by one of the best data driven companies
  • Able to provide high degree of major account management and control
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining relationships at the C-level
  • Ability to spin up a team and strategy in a matter of weeks, not months
  • Previous experience leading a sales team; crushing month, quarter, and year-end goals
  • Get results quickly, but know that you’ll have the resources needed to get them
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field
