Overview

Three years ago DiscoverOrg was an 87-person company doing about $30M in annual revenue. Fast forward three years and we are approaching 500 people doing about $120M in revenue with untapped growth potential. For us to continue on our goal of becoming the best Sales and Marketing Intelligence platform in the world, we need talented Customer Development Representatives to join our team. We’re looking for individuals who want to challenge the way we are currently doing things. Individuals who want to work with a highly collaborative team, and bring new ideas to the table as we prepare to scale in the coming years.

Your role as Customer Development Representative will be to engage with end users and executive level contacts within our existing customer base to drive product adoption, build ROI cases, and create a pipeline for our Customer Success Managers.

Responsibilities

Here is what a typical day will look like as the Customer Development Representative:

  • Effectively and independently distill and deliver the DiscoverOrg value proposition, articulating DiscoverOrg’s products, integrations, and features over the phone to existing users and economic buyers.
  • Support Customer Success Managers by driving product adoption and building return on investment cases for customer retention.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified leads for business development by cultivating relationships and identifying new segments within our existing customer base.
  • Drive the value of our full suite of applications.

Qualifications

You're likely a great fit for this role if you have:

  • For this role we weight your innate abilities and personality traits much more than your experience, but our ideal candidate could also have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ideally 1-2+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales or account management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • CRM usage experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong ability to close sales
  • Technology savvy
