We’re looking for a top-notch Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team to support that continued growth.


An Important Role

The Accounts Receivable Manager is a key position that will work closely with our customers, third parties, and the leaders of the Finance, Sales, and Customer Success teams, to create, define, implement, evolve and report on DiscoverOrg’s key metrics and processes around collections, while leading and managing a team that drives the vital process of cash collections from new and existing customers.

What You’ll Do and What You Need to Be Successful

  • Quickly evaluate the portfolio as a whole to ensure cash flow targets are met
  • Respond quickly to internal and external customer inquiries
  • Coach a small but diverse team to improve collections processes and skills
  • Strategically manage relationships with internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with other Accounting Staff to ensure timely billing and dunning
  • Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments =
  • Direct and follow up with a third-party agency to preserve customer relationships while ensuring account resolution
  • Support team efforts by addressing escalated accounts
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers of DiscoverOrg
  • Improve and streamline processes to build efficiency, capacity, and scale


This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, superb analytical skills, and the ability to team with others within the company. This position has excellent career growth potential, including frequent promotions progressively increasing responsibility. We’re seeking a strong A player that can scale with the business. This is a high-visibility position that works closely with the controller and CFO.


  • 3+ years of experience managing a Collections or AR team in a high-volume B2B setting
  • SaaS industry experience preferred, recurring revenue company preferred
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation, team management, and conflict resolution  skills
  • Ability to meet and exceed cash collections targets through effective leadership
  • Salesforce and NetSuite experience preferred
  • Experience with reading, interpreting, and discussing contract language
