Overview

DiscoverOrg is looking for a Product Marketing Associate to join our growing Product Marketing team. The Product Marketing Associate will be responsible for equipping our customer facing teams including Sales, Sales Development, and Customer Success with the knowledge and resources they need to be champions for DiscoverOrg’s SaaS solutions. The Product Marketing Associate will report to our Product Marketing Manager to create, manage and optimize sales collateral, monitor the success of the sales organization’s use of content, and continuously refine our content sharing strategy within the sales lifecycle/process.

Responsibilities

Here is what a typical day will look like as the Product Marketing Associate:

  • Manage the roll out, adoption and optimal usage sales enablement platform
  • Evaluate and demonstrate effectiveness of tools in the Sales Enablement tech stack. Make recommendations for new tools to support customer facing teams.
  • Partner with L&D and sales leadership to support the onboarding processes to effectively ramp internal sales resources and understanding our various buyer profiles
  • Measure the effectiveness of training content for new hires
  • In collaboration with Product Management, ensure that sales and customer success teams are ready to demonstrate and communicate the value of newly launched products and features
  • Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and/or skills
  • Create, update, and/or improve content used by sales and customer success including:
    • Job Aids: Playbooks, Battle Cards, Internal Procedures and Resources
    • Customer-Facing Content: Decks, Datasheets, Research Reports, Case Studies, etc.
    • Learning Content: Videos, Support Articles, Training Resources, etc.
  • Manage each set of content, including version control - in appropriate repositories.
  • Create a content sharing strategy that arms customer-facing teams with best practices on what to share with each audience, when to share in the sales process, and how to measure and act upon real-time engagement data.

Qualifications

You're likely a great fit for this opportunity if you have the following:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a B2B SaaS software working in marketing, sales, or support role
  • Experience creating internal and external sales resources
  • Experience or familiarity with sales enablement tools such as KnowledgeTree, Seismic, Highspot, Showpad, Mindtickle, or LearnCore
  • Passion for helping others succeed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills to draw meaningful conclusions
  • Desire to work in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment, that challenges you to grow
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Google Apps, and design tools a plus
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Excellent time management skills
