  • Overview

Six years ago DiscoverOrg was an 87-person company doing about $30M in annual revenue. Fast forward and we are approaching 500 people doing about $120M in revenue with untapped growth potential. We’re looking for an individual who wants to challenge the way we are currently doing things. An individual who wants to work with a highly collaborative team, and bring new ideas to the table as we prepare to scale in the coming years.

DicoverOrg is looking for a Commissions Manager who will be a point of contact for questions relating to all commission issues, including compensation plans, calculations, and attainments. The Commissions Manager is a key position that will work closely with the leaders of the Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams, to process, create, implement, define, evolve and report on all things related to DiscoverOrg’s commissions. With commissions currently being done in Excel, the Commissions Manager will be tasked with leading and managing the selection, implementation, and upkeep of a commissions system. Don’t think that this role is only about making calculations though.  We need you to also represent the Finance team in crafting new compensation plans, refining existing ones, and helping to interpret and resolve issues that may arise around compensation.  In short, we need you to be both a thinker and a doer, as we’ll be looking for you to identify trends, drive monthly review meetings, and make recommendations on what we can do to improve and execute better going forward.

This is a new position, so we encourage you to make it what you want it to be. This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, superb analytical skills, and the ability to team with others within the company.
