  • Overview

    The Manager of Learning & Development is responsible for all aspects of onboarding and training for DiscoverOrg customers and client base. The LDM works closely with Customer Success Managers to provide high-quality programs to customers ensuring knowledge of DiscoverOrg and quick adoption of our product. The LDM, in many cases, serves as a first-line resource to customers and end-users assisting them with using the DiscoverOrg product to further their own business development. In addition, LDMs have responsibility for employee-facing training programs as necessary.


    Here's what a typical day will look like as the Manager, Learning & Development:

    • Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for customers, both new and existing, in accordance with established programs. This includes delivering training on various platforms, including EUI, SFNA, Tellwise, and BHNA.
    • Build custom content for each client based on the use case of the client. This includes researching the client needs, coordinating information flow with the Customer Success Manager, and putting a training agenda together for each client with custom talk tracks and business case scenarios.
    • Track trainings for assigned customer base, including arranging for follow-up trainings as necessary.
    • Assist in the coordination and delivery of product training to customers ensuring customer understanding and long-term adoption. This included set monthly trainings as well as ad-hoc trainings as requested by clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Provide coaching to Customer Success Managers and Customer Development Representatives as necessary regarding value selling, onboarding and adoption techniques, and use-cases for DiscoverOrg.
    • Assist with employee onboarding and training as necessary, including the development of onboarding schedules, the development of content/curriculum, and facilitation of training sessions.
    • Develop content for trainings for both customers and internal stakeholders. This includes working with the Learning & Development team to conduct needs assessments, meeting with internal stakeholders to understand product enhancements, and developing the delivery methods to facilitate training (i.e. eLearnings, online quizzes, etc.)
    • Provide professional development training to DiscoverOrg employees on a regular basis through our DiscoverOrg Learn This includes developing content on a wide-range of topics and delivering trainings to interested employees.
    • Performs a wide variety of professional tasks, which demand a high level of creativity and imagination, as well as a thorough knowledge of the applicable needs and expectations of employees/customers.
    • Determine and apply assessment instruments to measure learner progress. Prepare monthly and annual reports on training program effectiveness.


    You're likely a great fit for this opportunity if you have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or related field.
    • 2+ years proven work experience in sales or account management with 1+ of those years focused on training in sales and/or account management.
    • Knowledge of the methods and principles of designing training programs, teaching individual and groups, and assessing the impact of training initiatives.
    • Experience with learning management software (preference given to Litmos).
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as proficiency in MS Office. Preference given to candidates with knowledge of eLearning software programs.
    • Excellent presentation skills.
