    DiscoverOrg’s database was less than a million contacts two years ago, and now we are targeting 15-20 million by the end of 2018. To grow this fast this quickly, it is imperative that DiscoverOrg scrutinizes every piece of data that enters into the product and sets up a repeatable process that can be incrementally modified and improved. This will ensure its customers have the best experience possible and the company will perform as efficiently as possible. We’re looking for individuals who want to challenge the way we are currently doing things while working with a highly collaborative team to bring new ideas to the table as we prepare to scale in the coming years.

    • Determining appropriate data segments to test and validate
    • Perform data quality validation and testing across all contact databases
    • Proactively investigate occurrences of incorrect bad data and determine cause of issue
    • Develop requirements for and monitor the progress of projects designed to improve data quality
    • Implement rigid testing procedures for decisions made in the prioritization of data collection or data processing
    • Assist in quality assurance process for data science algorithms
    • Conduct Data Product Prioritization meetings with stakeholders every two weeks
    • Report on analytics findings and provide recommendations



    • 1-3 years of analytics experience with escalating levels of responsibility
    • 1+ years of SQL querying experience
    • Exposure to Python or other scripting language a big plus
    • Post-secondary coursework in statistics
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
    • Ability to effectively extract and communicate insights from data (including visualization and presentation experience)
    • Experience in a product- or project-driven work environment
    • Experience with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft or Google Suite)
    • Experience with version control a plus
