  • Overview

    The Chief of Staff, Data Operations will be responsible for the development, implementation, and analysis of company-wide data that will support our department heads and executive teams. This may mean aggregating and analyzing product usage data, employee productivity data, sales data, renewal data, or pricing data. We are looking for someone how can multi-task, think strategically, and use data to drive analysis and recommendations to the executive staff.


    This is an executive level position that reports directly into our Chief Revenue Officer at DiscoverOrg and has visibility into strategic initiatives and Board Level decisions. You will also work closely with our Chief Operating Officer and Chief Growth Officer. 


    Our environment is fast-paced and constantly evolving and requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, superb analytical skills, and the ability to drive collaboration across different departments within the company.


    Here's what a typical day will look like as the Chief of Staff, Data Operations:


    • Deliver analytically rigorous and data-driven insights to support strategic direction and prioritization
    • Partner with key business units and corporate functions to drive successful execution and implementation of strategic priorities
    • Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast and accurate metrics
    • Assist in the preparation of presentations to senior leadership and Board of Directors as needed
    • Support the testing and evaluation of potential new opportunities in the marketplace through research and analysis


    The ideal candidate will bring the following to the table:


    • Candidates with an MBA from a top tier business school preferred
    • Strong project management skills with success in multiple large-scale projects
    • Focused on quick results and fast turnaround, with strong attention to detail
    • Previous experience demonstrating very strong problem structuring and analytical skills
    • Previous experience demonstrating very strong modeling and presentation writing skills
    • Previous experience demonstrating very strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Fast paced; comfortable with tight deadlines, fast turnaround times and ambiguity
