  • Overview

    The Lead Solutions Engineer at DiscoverOrg will lead and manage our team of Solutions Engineers responsible for supporting pre and post sale engagements to demo, install/set-up, troubleshoot, and optimize our customer’s use of all integrations with DiscoverOrg (CRM, Marketing Automation, Sales Acceleration tools). The role is predominantly customer facing and also requires a high level of internal cross functional collaboration with the sales, customer success, product management, and support teams.  The main mission of the team is to ensure customers realize the full value of DiscoverOrg data when integrated with the rest of their sales and marketing tech stack.


    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Serve as team Manager and expert on technical implementations and best practices
    • Work with Sr. Leadership to establish quarterly goals and strategy for the team
    • Work directly with customers to setup, configure, troubleshoot, and use our integrations based on best practices
    • Engage with Business Intelligence team to access data and identify opportunities to drive integration adoption and engagement throughout the customer base
    • Manage day-to-day activities of team to drive key customer engagement and Integrations goals and metrics
    • Assist and advise on business processes directly involving integrations with DiscoverOrg
    • Interface with Product Owners to provide feedback on the integrations, advise on bug and feature prioritization.


    • 3 – 5 years’ experience as a sales engineer or technical support lead  in a SaaS organization
    • Experience managing a solutions engineering or support team
    • Natural ability for consultative and solution-based engagements
    • Ability to navigate multiple web applications and provide troubleshooting assistance and Best Practices
    • Salesforce Administration certification is preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Time management skills with ability to effectively manage and prioritize own workload
    • Ability to build strong relationships with direct customers and internal teams
